Castaldi Lighting Governance.
Within the context of a broader business reorganization plan, on 24 May the implementation of some actions was launched and its essential and substantial start consisted of a change in the shareholding and governance of Castaldi Lighting with the aim of strengthening its financial position and business.
The majority shareholding, in fact, was transferred from the investment funds to Miele Holding, a company belonging to ing. Walter Camarda, former CEO of Castaldi Holding and now Chairman of the Board of Directors too and, last but not least, a standout for being the entrepreneur who historically contributed to track the successful path of the compan.
This is representing a clear and net sign of discontinuity from the past and the next steps will now be focusing on completing the reorganizational structure and substantially easing the financial distress. There will be in parallel a careful search for commercial and industrial partners who may allow targeting market segments with higher margins.
The ultimate goal is and will be remaining to bring within a short term the company back to the market placement it belongs to with a new renewed spirit and the level of efficiency that may be worthy of the name and the prestige of Castaldi Lighting. Each and every effort will be put to achieve this in order to be able to meet the challenges that may come from a global world market that is still receptive for competitive players and bearer of opportunities.
